Working at Hwy 70 Construction
A Different Kind of Place to Work
Hwy 70 is a new company with an old soul.
We believe a man’s work and a man’s worth can rise together. The way we show up matters — how we treat people, how we carry ourselves, and the kind of work we leave behind. Around here, no one is talked down to, no one is invisible, and the job isn’t just to get through the day — it’s to do something you’d stand behind.
We’re not fast, loud, or trying to impress anyone. We work steady. We stay on beat. We take care of the details and we take care of each other.
If that kind of environment sounds right, you’ll understand this place pretty quickly.
The Work We Do
We handle residential construction, repairs, and remodels across West Tennessee.
Most of our work falls into a few categories:
Home repairs and handyman work
Remodels and renovations
Bathrooms, kitchens, and interior updates
Structural repairs and framing
Exterior work like decks, siding, and storm repair
It’s real work. Some days are clean and straightforward. Some days aren’t.
We don’t cut corners, and we don’t rush jobs just to move on to the next one. We do things the right way, even when it takes a little longer.
Customers trust us with their homes. We take that seriously.
The Kind of People We Hire
We’re not looking for perfect résumés. We’re looking for the right kind of person.
People who tend to do well here:
Show up when they say they will
Take pride in their work, even when no one is watching
Stay steady instead of rushing or getting flustered
Treat customers and teammates with respect
Are willing to learn and get better over time
Can take direction without ego and give effort without being pushed
Skill matters. Experience matters. But attitude and consistency matter more.
This is a place where you can grow if you want to — not just in skill, but in how you carry yourself and the kind of work you’re known for.
We don’t do yelling, chaos, or ego-driven job sites. That doesn’t last here.
Our Work with The Hope Center
Some of our team comes through the Hope Center.
We’ve found that when people are given a real opportunity, clear expectations, and treated with respect, they step up. We’ve seen people grow quickly — not just in skill, but in confidence and responsibility.
Those team members work alongside the rest of the crew, learn the trade, and contribute to real jobs that matter.
We don’t treat that as charity work. We treat it as part of building a stronger team and a stronger community.
If you’re willing to work, show up, and take pride in what you do, there’s a place here to prove it.
If This Sounds Like You
This isn’t a polished, corporate environment. It’s a steady place with real expectations and real work.
If you’re the kind of person who wants to:
Do work that means something
Be part of a crew that respects each other
Build a reputation you’re proud of
Then you’ll fit in here.
Reach out. We’re always open to meeting the right people.
